For as long as I can remember I have held a deep interest in pregnancy, childbirth and babies. With an extensive background in childcare I've always wanted to be closer to the miracle of birth. When I learned about doulas I immediately knew I had found my calling.
As a certified birth doula I have been proudly helping families welcome their babies into the world since 2006. I have a strong belief that every woman is entitled to birth the way she desires surround by a loving and supportive team in an environment where she feels safe. I strive to educate parents so that they can make informed decisions they can feel good about. I have worked with families in a variety of settings including medication free water births, hospital births and planned cesareans. With a warm, outgoing personality I feel that I easily understand the mothers needs and am especially able to relate to first time parents and young moms to be.
Born in South Carolina, I have traveled and lived throughout the united states. I made Tucson my home when I met the love of my life, Tony. We have now been happily married since 2000.
